With our Kyoto Kimono Photo Plan, you can enjoy a truly special photo session while strolling at a relaxing pace through a charming, historic temple district.
Our friendly bilingual staff (speaking French and English) will provide complete, end-to-end support—from guiding you to the kimono rental shop and helping you select the perfect kimono that suits you beautifully, to accompanying you to the temple location and coordinating the shoot.
Through a close collaboration with our trusted partner rental shop, this premium experience is thoughtfully designed to ensure that even first-time wearers can immerse themselves in Japanese tradition with absolute comfort and peace of mind.
Your beautifully captured memories will be carefully delivered to you via Google Photos within one week.

- Meet our staff at a designated meeting point near Karasuma
- Kimono selection & dressing at our partner rental shop (hairstyling optional: 4,500 yen)
- Photo session at Rokkakudo Temple
- Free time in Kyoto until 17:00, then return the kimono to the rental shop
- Receive photo data via Google Photos within approx. 10 days
Boutique Akané KYOTO
A fully reservation-based boutique offering vintage kimono carefully selected by the owner from all over Japan.
Enjoy shopping in a quiet, private atmosphere away from the crowds.
We also exhibit items from Akané PRODUCT, including kimono upcycled pieces such as obi bags, kimono dresses, and jackets—each a unique item that blends tradition and modern design.
